Oh how we love the Park

Many weekends we pack the girls up and head to the park. We go early in the morning to beat the crowd and heat. One day we went in the morning and afternoon. It's nice to watch Taylor play all by herself, six months ago we had to help her do everything. Kendall enjoys the swing and kid watching.

Easter Day

We enjoyed a nice, crowded Easter service with Adam's parent. After church we played on the church playground alittle bit and headed home. That afternoon we had a picnic lunch at Nana's and the kids had a blast. Good time by all!

Family Picture

Kendall was not having it!

First ride on a tire swing... priceless!

Easter Egg Hunt

The Saturday before Easter we enjoyed Faith's easter egg hunt. Taylor had a BLAST. I am so glad we went. Here's what she enjoyed.

Arts and crafts

Playing with a parachute... i've never seen her do this but she acted like she's done it before.

One of my favorite pictures!

Refreshments - another favorite pic.

Thanks Caedyn and Eli for inviting us. We look forward to it again next year.

Zoo trip

We took the kids to the zoo on Good Friday. Had alot of fun but it was packed!

Check out her hair. ;-)

Taylor was holding on to the stroller and Kendall was taking it off. Sibling rivalry at a young age. Oh boy!

So much fun... too little time

Where does the time go? It's hard to believe the older you get the faster life moves. But it seems to do so. It's been two months since I've blogged and so much has happened, I don't know where to begin. I'll probably just hit the highlights and then post tons of pictures from the last two months... there's plenty to tell our story.

Kendall has seen a GI doctor and he suspects her rash(es) are coming from wheat that is contaminated with oat. Therefore we've had her on a wheat free diet for a entire month and saw a huge difference in her skin. The diet is not easy to say the least. That means no bread, pasta, breaded meats, cookies, cakes, and several canned cooking goods (cream of anything, etc). It really limits what she can eat and is very stressful for me. We actually put her back on a 'normal diet' last week. She seems to be doing okay. Her skin isn't as flawlesas as wheat free but it's not as bad as it was prior to this. We'll see. She may end up back on a wheat free diet.

Kendall is starting to walk. She's not full -blown walking. But she's in a walk/crawl transition. She can walk across the length of our living room with no problem. She's so proud of this accomplishment.

She's saying dada, mama, taytay, bye bye and I swear at times, right back. She also loves playing peek a boo and patty cake.

Taylor is loving school every day. She's doing great at her potty training except for BM in the potty. We've regressed significantly with that. Not sure what's going on but she won't go in the potty at all.. not for the past two weeks. I think she's had a 'bad experience' and is now scared. We're working on it.

We had a GREAT easter this year... see pictures below. We are currently 're-doing' several house projects. We've had home improvement in our shower. And we tototally dug up our backyard. Adam has planted a vegetable garden and we planted new grass. Surprisingly the grass is growing and we are SOO excited about it! We've never had 'real' grass b/c of the dogs and such. It's actually growing pretty fast. I can't wait until I can walk with my bare feet outside.

We had our car broke into this week. It was a cheap break in b/c luckily (in this instance) Adam didn't lock his car door (unusual for him). Our neighbor was up when it happened (about 4:30am) and even spoke to the guy. It didn't hit her what was happening until after he walked away. But he opened the car and trunk, went through it, got what he want and left in a matter of seconds. He got away with his GPS system (in the glove box), sunglasses ($5 worth) and an old wallet of 'momentos.' We were lucky b/c the cop says if the door was locked, he probably would have broken the glass, which would have cost us much more. We are thankful and it was an eye opening experience.

I'm going to start posting pictures, which will probably post ahead of this post.
