Happy July 4th!!

What do you do on July 4th with a sick child? Nada. It's just another day. However, it is a day for husbands to be motivated to grill out and cook dinner. For that alone, I wish every day could be July 4th.

Well so Taylor is sick for the 4th. She woke up yesterday with a fever. By the time we got to the doctor in the afternoon, her temp was over 103 and she could barely hold her head up. She was pitiful. She's doing much better today, though still has a slight fever and still doesn't have her appetite. It's no fun with a sick child. We just sat in the rocking chair all day together. She sure picked a bad time to be sick. We didn't have any big plans for the 4th in the first place, but we are suppose to have her pictures taken tomorrow and her baptism is Sunday. Why did we wait so long to have her Baptized? Well, Adam and I have been church hopping for the past year. We finally joined Mt. Horeb Methodist last month and have really enjoyed it. We are still planning on Sunday... sick child or not. Maybe if she's not better by then, the healing waters of Christ can do it because I can't take another day off from work. :-)

Well I hope everyone has a safe and fun July 4th. It's actually storming right now.. so hopefully everyone's plans were inside.
